As an official Launch X431 dealer, appointed by Launch UK, we are in an excellent position to obtain used X-431s as trade-ins and also to recondition and guarantee them.
On receipt, each machine is cleaned, thoroughly tested and any faulty or worn parts replaced. The complete unit then receives a 12 months parts & labour warranty, backed up by ourselves.
Customers have the option of accepting the software level installed in the machine when received by RW Motortec or buying 1 or 2 years updates at specially reduced prices. Please note that the 1 or 2 years runs from the day of despatch to you, not from when the original software contract expired.
Adding a Super 16 adapter, also at a special price, gives the reconditioned X-431 the same capability, in terms of coverage, as a brand new X-431 Master and that means the best in the World!

The Official UK Spec Launch X-431 now comes with Jaguar, Isuzu and Daihatsu software free of charge (previously costing over £400 plus VAT). this is in addition to the CAN 2 plug, Mercedes Sprinter lead and software for Smart, Chrysler and Sprinter, recently added.
In the course of 2008, there were no less than 250 separate updates (relevant to British & European users) made available to existing X-431 customers, for instant download from the internet.
Of course, the X-431 is great on Asian vehicles but European coverage is even better. For example, the BMW, Mercedes and VW/Audi programmes are to a very high standard indeed, right through to 2008/9, performing considerably better than some tools dedicated to these makes only.

FAQs
Are your units official UK-spec?
Yes they are! The factory site (www.x431.com) makes it clear that non-official units will not be supported, either for updates or warranty.
Why can I buy the unit cheaper on ebay?
They are not sourced through Launch UK. The factory site (www.x431.com) warns specifically against buying on ebay. In any case, official UK units come with an extra 2 years' updates (worth £625 plus VAT) over and above the 1 year normally supplied. Jaguar, Diahatsu, Isuzu and Sprinter are also included.
What is the cost of updates?
£625 plus VAT for 2 years or £475 for one year.
Is there a penalty for missing updates?
There is NO penalty whatsoever. When your free update period expires, you can wait for 6 months, a year, even two years and then, when you buy, your updates run from that date and everything you missed comes FREE!

Systems covered by the Launch X-431
The basic systems of petrol and diesel engines, ABS and ESP aswell as airbags are covered on practically any vehicle. In addition, other applications such as climate control, automatic transmission, body controller, etc etc are normally supported. In many cases, specialist functions such as diesel injector programming, condition based servicing, key coding and module coding are often present.
