The GP-100 is not "time bombed" - i.e. its software doesn't time-out. Updates are via the internet and these typically appear every quarter. Each one incorporates significant improvements that are genuinely relevant to the vehicles we see here in Britain, exactly what you'd expect from a major European manufacturer.
