Description
Nowadays, it's just not enough to have only an ignition tester which picks up its signal from a plug lead, you also need a tool which can handle systems which have no HT leads. These systems are known as Coil on Plug or COP for short and the new COP ARC ignition tester from RW Motortec is made specially to handle them.
The COP ARC tester is universal - it needs no special adaptor plates for different types of coil. Simply place the flexible (and replaceable) mylar finger onto the top or side of each individual ignition coil to obtain a highly accurate reading. The COP ARC tester can show whether the spark generated by the coil is sufficient in power and duration to properly fire the air fuel mixture.
Combine the COP ARC tester with the HI ARC and the analysis of the ignition system on ANY petrol engine is within your grasp. Best of all - it only takes a few seconds to test each cylinder.
